Sisal Buffing Wheel – CSIR – AMPRI Technology

I have seen this process like a lay man in the CSIR Technofest 2010, showcased by Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, New Delhi, at India International Trade Fair during November 14-27, 2010 New Delhi, India and understand that a technology is available for the "Sisal Buffing Wheel" which was developed by Advanced Materials and Processes Research Institute, Bhopal - 462064, India   Sisal Fibre Based Products and Composites  Sisal is one kind of tree which is available in mountain or upland areas.  This tree can be planted in wasteland areas and it gives three to four crops per year. Sisal crop means just taking leaves from tree and allow the tree to grow for second and further crops of leaves.  Sisal Fibre is widely used in rope making and also manufacture of sacks and paper. Biodegradable Soluble Cutting Oil – CSIR – IIP Technology

Biodegradable Soluble Cutting Oil I have seen this technology which is useful for cutting and grinding operations in the CSIR Technofest 2010, showcased by Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, New Delhi, at India International Trade Fair during November 14-27, 2010 New Delhi, India. I understand that "Biodegradable Soluble Cutting Oil" was developed by Indian Institute of Petroleum, Dehradun, India. This technology was developed from rice bran oil and what chart shows that from Rice plant, we get rice kernel, and from this we get rice bran oil.  From rice bran oil, we get soluble oil concentrate and finally we get Biodegradable Soluble Cutting Oil from soluble oil concentrate.  I came to know this technology has already been transferred to Ecocare Bio Lube Private Limited, Tamil Nadu, India. Soluble Cutting Oil is recommended for most milling, drilling, turning, cut-off and power sawing of ferrous and non-ferrous .. more»

Mobile Essential Oil Distillation Unit – CSIR – IHBT Technology

Mobile Essential Oil Distillation Unit I have seen this technology in the CSIR Technofest 2010, showcased by Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi, at India International Trade Fair during November 14-27, 2010 New Delhi, India. I understand that "Mobile Essential Oil Distillation Unit" was developed by Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology (IHBT), Palampur, Himachal Pradesh, India to reduce the cost of essential oils.. This vehicle (lorry) was kept for demonstration purpose in the exhibition and explained their technology for essential oils which can be done in remote areas to reduce the cost of the product.  Conventionally, essential oils are being distilled at commercial scale in a stationary-type distillation units installed at a centralized facility away from the fields where the aromatic crops were cultivated. The raw material has to be transported to the site for processing each batch, which adds up to production .. more»
